Ways to Make Money as a Stay-At-Home Parent
Trying to make money while being a stay-at-home parent? Here are a few ways I've made some extra cash.
Blogging

ibotta
Another way I've earned money is using ibotta. Ibotta is a mobile app used to redeem offers from supported retailers. I have mostly been using this when I need to go grocery shopping. Since using the app, I've cashed in over $87. It may not sound like a lot, but consider what that money could go towards. Diapers, wipes, new outfit? Best part, it's super easy to use. You can scan your receipt, link a loyalty card or make in-app purchases.

Poshmark
Do you have clothes or accessories you don't wear anymore? Before tossing it all in the Goodwill bin, consider selling it using Poshmark. I've used the app to sell lots of clothes and shoes (even a bridesmaid dress). The process of selling is straight-forward. Snap a picture of the item you're selling, then make a sale post. I've bought things with confidence using Poshmark too. You can find some great deals of modern and stylish clothing. It's important to style your clothes and take your time with the photos. Beautiful pictures will entice buyers and maybe help sell your things for more!

Amazon Mechanical Turk
What? Yes, Amazon is hiring, and you don't even have to get off the couch. You can work for Amazon doing different jobs that require human intelligence. Computers are smart, but they can't solve every problem. Some of the jobs include taking surveys, transcribing audio/video files, or even typing out what a word in an image says. Most of the jobs I've completed take only a couple minutes (if that!) Once you've submitted enough work that has met approval ratings of certain Requesters, you'll become eligible for more jobs.

Surveys
Seems like every time I did research on how to make money from home, Swagbucks was recommended. Personally, that website is irritating. Every link opens a new window, every video fails to load, and the points that you earn never seem worth my time. I "cashed in" $50 so far. I don't think I ever qualified for high paying surveys either. If you're still interested in it, you can use my referral link to earn a bonus 300 "Swagbucks."The survey app I prefer to use is Surveys On The Go. The first survey I completed I earned $20! The app is still pretty new, but you can check out their website for more information. I like that this app is user friendly, payout is quick and there's always surveys available to qualify for.
None of these jobs have been enough income to leave a full-time job by any means, but if you're looking to make a little extra money in your downtime, why not give these a try?
There are also plenty of other ways to make money from home, but these are the ones that I've tried and been successful with.
